audi AWD and Volvo AWD

Lol yeah, but try driving RWD with summer tires in the snow. Man it took me 4 hours to drive a 15 minute drive. I would just put the car into gear and the *** would go left or right, the car wouldnt go forward to save your life, even at idle. Willing to bet the audi AWD would probably be better with no tires, then the z32 was with summers.

hahah yeah rwd in the snow...memories...
snow tires or not, its flat out just to much of a pain in the ***, i used to live on a hill and i would go all the way up sideways in that car. Fun, yes, but if u screw up, well u know how hard it is to find parts for a car like that lol.

My cutlass was fun in the snow but easy to get stuck. lol my rear brakes went out on it (too many brake torques) and i would have to put it in neutral at stop light so it didn't slide into the car next to me.
You'd really love my old '83 BMW 533i in the snow! They only tires made for it were the Michelin TRX tires (metric sized), which were $220 a pop and completely worthless on anything but dry roads. You couldn't even pull through an intersection in that car after sitting at a redlight without doing a 180! Great car for the autobahn, but suckful in rain or snow.
That said, and the point of my story, after having that car in the PA winters I decided on getting the Audi Quattro. Aside form the turbo crapping out, I've never regretted it. The car is sporty to drive and incredible in the snow. I kid you not, the damn thing handles better on snow/ice coveredroads than my '92 Isuzu Trooper, and when it does snow, I've never been unable to get wherever I wanted to get.
