audi concert radio code
#12
For any UK reader of this thread I contacted Audi UK directly with the above info and they told me it isn't possible to get the radio code unless I take it to a dealership and have them plug into the car.
They say:
The car has to be plugged in to our equipment, the code is requested from the car ECU and then submitted back to the diagnostic euipment (or something along those lines)
f*** that sh**. Waste of money IMO
New radio from halfrauds bargain bin section for half the price of said main stealer code retreival procedure and 10mins to fit if you don't count having to run a switched live direct from the ignition barrel.
edit: this was for a 2002 A6 with Chorus radio.
It costs about £60+ just to ask a question round 'ere,
my new radio has CD, Radio, USB, front Aux in/iphone/pod charge, Bluetooth. For £30. Go figure.
My old radio takes 6 scratched CDs and 1 old tape
Worth ditching the factory radio just to have the USB and Bluetooth!

Instantly rescued from a month I'd stressing over my Audi TT radio being in safe mode. I called the 18008222834. I did have my radio serial number and my VIN. They walked me through it over the phone. Now I have my code. My car had been in the shop for 2 weeks with no luck but they had successfully pulled the radio and gotten the serial number for me. Now my key fobs work as well. Thanks Audi forum

I want to ask for help to someone who has time for me. I have an audi a6 model 2.4 gasoline. I replaced the Audi-concert 4B0 035 186B, AUZ5Z3W0090862 original radio-cd with AEG Autoradio AR 4026, one with retractable display. The problem I have is that I was in the service to fix some of the witnesses on board. the mechanic told me she needed the original radio to communicate with the car's computer. said and done, I reinstalled the original radio but asked for the unlock code I unfortunately do not have. is there anyone who can help me? thank you anyway for any kind of answer.

I bought the car eight years ago from a German owner, without realizing that he does not have the car and the radio-CD card. after some time I realized that they would have been useful someday. I rushed a little bit then. thank you for your answer. Does anyone know how I can get this code? thanks for any answer.
