1999 1.8T with TIP. You guys were right on with my misfire #2 as the ICM. I disconnected the battery to service. Now vehicle has hunting idle and dies at every other stop of vehicle(no cel). VAG no codes. Multilple throttle adaptations (manual). Used VAG to Throttle adaptation. Car Idles fine now but have cel. VAG - 17967 Throttle valve control part(j338): fault in basic setting p3074Y p240x p1559-35-00 and 17973 throttle actuator(j338): lower stop not reached p3274y p240x 1565 -35 -00.. Car was without power for 2 minutes. Didn't even have to enter radio code. Throttle body looks clean, but will clean anyway. Need any other advice. thanks in advance.

 

I would clear all the codes first and see if they come back, its probably fine if its idling and driving normally again.
