I am being offered a good deal on a 57 plate A4 just now. One thing I was wondering is - can I get the Audi Music Interface fitted on a 57 plate A4? I thought I read somewhere it can only be done to an 08 plate or later. Also, if I can get it fitted to a 57 plate, does it give full ipod control through the main colour screen that the sat nav would normally appear in? Should say the car in question has DVD Sat Nav already fitted if it makes a difference.

I need to give an answer on this deal today and the AMI is quite important to me so if I could get any responses today it would be much appreciated.

Yes. The car was registered in 2008 but is a 57 registration.

Is this a UK thing? I am unfamiliar with this term. Like a salvage title or something?
