So I placed an order with www.MP3YourCar.com for the Audi iPod adapter. It was like $195
This morning I was at Audi and they said that they just got the Audi OEM one in and it is $170. I thought "Oh well, I already placed the order with MP3YourCar.com" but they emailed me today to say that my order hasnt shipped , etc. So...

Anyone have any experience with the OEM Audi one? Should I just go that route?

 

No idea, but I have the Dension IceLink... awsome. Wicked sound quality and uses the buttons on the headunit.

that store also has many other types of ipod adapters

you'll have to d/c your cd player though (i had none so that's the way i went)

it works with the head unit alone..no running wires to the cd changer..plug-in-play

the only bad thing is that you cant get any song info displayed on the LED display.. it just shows CD TRACK 999 or something and you have to use your ipod to control the music played

the sound is great since it's directly connected

 

i'm lookin at gettin this for my 97, but i'm not much of a "diy"er..

limptimtim, did u install it urself? i've read the directions on the diy section but i want to get an opinion from somebody who actually did it

 

sublime, your 97 probably does not have the concert radio in it...unless you swapped out your delta cc?
