Manual should be faster off the line because you can launch it. Tip is only better if your right arm had to be amputated or if your wife cant/wont drive stick like mine. A tip chip makes a wolrld of differnce though and will shift faster than any manual regardless of driver which may make up for the lack of ability to launch.
Also tip cant handle BT's without a valve body upgrate from level10 which =$800 for the part alone.

from a roll manual and tip are aboout even, tip may even be a bit faster because the computer shifts perfect everytime especially with a tip chip

Go manual man, it's much more fun and really brings the whole car experience along with it. Auto is boring, its really a no brainer if you ask me.

Deffinetly get a manual. the only reason you should get a auto is if you spend tons of time stuck in traffic. I got a auto and i wish I had a many.

The tip isn't bad you can shift just like a manual but its still a bit slower and less dramatic. Definitely go with a manual

personally i dont car, manual is manual, hands down, but tip gives me best of both world, and shifts for me when i just dont feel like moving my feet. the only thing i dont like is a true automatic transmission like in most cars an older audis. i could live with them but for now i like manual, i can say i was active when i get arheritis.
