Hey everybody, I have 2003 a4 quattro with 2" neuspeed race springs with 18" wheels, after I put the springs on I noticed a rubbing in the drivers back , I checked it out and it looks like something is rubbing on the axle, I have read that vw cars get axle rub from the factory sway bar when you lower it any more than 1". I don't want to take to audi because they would charge me an arm and a leg to fix, would a set of H&R sway bars correct that problem, it only does it when I make a left turn, and I don't want to make right turns all day. thanks for any help.

 

what kind of shocks are you running with your Neuspeed springs?

 

they are stock shocks, need to save the $$$ for coilovers, I just ordered the h&r sway bar kit this morning, so what do you think it is, you would think if it rubs on one side it would rub on both.

 

i am way slammed and i have no problems. new shocks may be what you need.

 

maybe the shock in that corner is blown. coilovers would be great, but even a good set of shocks would be better than stock. i'd try the new shocks before the sway.
