This was the ...quickest, cheapest, most simple mod ever. It took me a total of 5 minutes and works perfect. At the end of the extension wire I removed about 1/2 inch of the insulatin to expose the wire. Overall a very quick fixto something that frustruated me every day.
Thanks

Is the antenna located in the same spot for pre-facelift models? I'm reading it's next to this "alarm box thingy?" Could someone shed some light on this?

thank you so much, i just did this.. and can now lock and unlock my car from halfway up the street, sitting in my neighbors living room, or from my girlfriends bedroom (always was a pain in the *** when the alarm started going off for no reason, then having to go outside and turn it off)

Do you ever leave the window or sunroof open a crack? Our interior sensors are uber sensitive... the wind will set off my alarm if I leave the window or sunroof open at all. So, if I do want to leave anything open, I disable the interior monitor with that button on the b-pillar.

Can't wait to do this mod! Friday...
