if i had a '69 bug it would definatly be a sand dune racer. they run around the streets of california, and those things are awesome

yeah those are pretty rad... this one ended up going more the low rider route and the "So Cal" look. Dark purple and lowered all around, 1850cc engine - nice upgrade from the stock 1600. Its really a very nice car - all restored from the pan up... plus the new engine is barely over 3K.

My buddy at work got one about that age, hes got this sick retro black and white paint shceme that fades to black in the rea with white wheels to match the white in the front and black wheels in the rear to match the black... it doesnt really have bumpers either just these little chrome nub-like things its pretty cool...

We'd be better friends if he would agree to throw a 1.8T in there but no dice on that... he also eventualy confessed to not haven done anything to it he bought it that way.[:-]

I guess I'm a little late on this whole post, but B5 definately looks better aesthetically than B6, just like the previous model Bimmers look better than those ugly new ones. It seems like German car design is going to hell right now. Except, I am feeling the new horseshoe design grill Audi just made.

i didn't mind the new 5 and 7 series (and the 6 is prettyslick IMO). but i LOVED the 3, and they have fucked that up. expecially with splitting it into 3 and 4. IMO, if they left the 3 alone, they'd have a slick lineup on their hands. they could have freshened up the 3 series without giving it their new random slicing design

B6 is nicer looking then a B5... Dual Exhaust stock... B5 body looks like not enough is there. B6 lights nicer (even nicer with euro specs).
