Yeah I can't even get the damned shift **** off of my dads car... haha, I know you don't twist it off, it has a clip of some kind... I have the shift boot lifted up, and I took off some steel clamp thing... but yeah, I am stuck.

Anybody done a short shifter on a b6? How involved is it? My 2000 b5 was very simple.
