Default B6 A4 1.8t or 330i??

pretty new to the audi world.

looking into a 1.8T, or possible a 330i for my next car.

the quattro seems nice for chicago winter conditions, but BMW has nice maintenance.
any suggestions?

Quattro gooooooooooood
BMW will make you gaaaaaaaaaay

Kidding! They are both nice cars (assuming prices and options are both where you want them) but the Quattro is going to be a massive improvement in the winter. If it were a 330xi, it would be a closer decision!

Youre at an Audi enthusiest web site...What do you think we are going to tell you? If you dont do maintnence yourself, both will be expensive to maintain. If you do most maint. yourself, the 1.8t will be wayyyyyyyyyyyyy easier to work on,and parts are probably cheaper. Then theres the fact that youll be driving an Audi and not a BMW. That says a lot in itself.

I agree. BMW is going the route of Honda, pay lots and get little. I'd go Audi.

Was just reading post and though I would say this makes me fell VERY WARM AND FUZZY. Treaded an 06 Civic for an 03 Audi A4 and have zero regretes minus how in the hell do you get that ash tray out of the center councle with the lip stuck opening haly way because of some change behind it lol.

Oh ya Audi 1.8t will be a better bet or a 3.0 if you want comfort with some possible of power upgrades later on just a hair tight to fit anything but it gives an amazing sound stock.

Performance wise - my bro. has a 2004 330i. We raced a little bit, and he barely beat me (i have giac fx program). I believe with an exhaust (and perhaps an fmic), i'd be able to take him.
