Hello,

On my 1996 A4 2.8Q, the oil temperature gauge and voltage gauge do not light up? Any ideas what this is caused by and how to fix it? Thanks!

small lightbulbs behind it = burnt out.

To replace:

Pull up on the black plastic piece above the steering wheel. Underneath there are two philips screws. Remove them and the cluster will slide out.

Stick your hand behind the cluster and remove the 3 plugs, and CEL wire. The light bulbs can be changed from the back of the cluster. NO you can can't buy the bulbs at autozone. Yes you can buy them at the dealer for a few bucks.
