Bad Gas mileage. im guessin about 12mpg for a 98 2.8 w/108,000 miles.

any sugestions about what to do to help me save $$$

i shift at 3000rpm most of the time. and rarely keep it in the power band for more grunt.

light yellow cream on dipstick. winter here. i warm it up for about 4min.

 

Do a seafoam treatment, replace your spark plugs (if it's been a while), and make sure your tires are properly inflated.

 

O2 sensors too.

 

yup could def be o2 sensor or MAF. I was getting 14mpg and i had a bad o2. You might wanna seafoam first, then maybe go for o2(pre-cat).
