Default Bad Wheel Bearing

How hard/complicated is it to do this repair yourself?

I'm pretty sure my left rear wheel has a bad wheel bearing, and I'm debating taking it to an independent Audi mechanic or just doing the repair in my garage. We've got the standard tools and stuff, but nothing specifically to change wheel bearings with. (I don't really know what is needed even, but all that can be researched if I decide to actually do this myself, I guess)

you need a machine press to press out the bearing. i recommend taking it to a mechanic if youve never changed one, or dont know how to. i paid 200 for my rear right bearing. GL

plenty to look at that will guide you and a large vice should be enough to insert the new bearing the old one should hammer out,

a lot of work so not for the faint hearted and ABS sensor is the biggest problem if it wont come out so every chance of damaging it.
