If the battery is disconnected while working on the car (2001 A4 Avant Quattro), other than re-programming the stations on the radio, are there any other tasks to re-program the car or do you just hook the battery back up and drive away?

Just drive normally, the computer will reprogram itself after a little while. No worries.

 

Hopefully you will have the radio code.

You will have to do a throttle body alignment for the car to idle correctly.
