You dont need to mess with internals untill u are making insane hp.

I was told that the internals need help to be changed at roughly 400hp

Panda , I have an 03 Tip. And I have been running APR's 93 octane which claims to produce 245lbs of TQ, and the tranny seems to be fine.

Ko4 in my opinion.. Not too expensive & is pretty quick & very reliable.
