hey, im about to do about 40% of my engine mods (savin the rest for good weather) and so far im thinkin about goin with an apr 1+ chip, a DV, possibly a clutch/lighter flywheel, and a full exhaust system. so far iv been thinkin that awe and apr are the two best choices but im not posative so if any opinions that would be great. right now im leanin twards awe because its a little cheaper and from what it says on teh website sounds good.

 

Aprs stage 1 is great, if not you not thinking of doing a bigger turbo. I havent heard that much people like the lighter flywheel. As for exhaust i would prolly go with the borla from awe.

 

thanks, yea that was what i was thinkin. i am thinking about doing a bigger turbo but im waiting for apr to come out with the stage 3+ turbo kit which should have been out already. supposadly its supposed to put out over 340 hp. if i get the chip from apr, can i then get a turbo kit and just put like a different program on it? also, i know i sound like an idiot but do the larger injectors reduce mpg?

 

slightly, not enough to worry about it. Yeah apr will swap the software.

 

does anyone have an opinion about milltek? is it better than awe?

 

prolly going to be more expensive, i would personaly go with the borla.

but he has a b6, borla doesnt make an exhaust system for those years. I'd decide between apr and awe
