Wondering what would be the best clutch to buy for the ko4 while maintaining good drivability. I was thinking stage 1 or 2 that way pedal feel is to heavy.

 

Stage 2 man... Go AWE stage 2 if you ask me.... Its gonna be a little heavier/stiffer but thats a sacrifice you'll have to take to get a clutch that will last

you can use a s4 or rs4 stock clutch. There is atuner on vortex with 12 sec cars running them.

 

WOuldnt stage 2 awe clutch be cheaper? 350 dollars for a clutch as opposed to s4 which i think is a bit more expensive ehh?

350 as well i see, not bad, but i guess its a coin toss between the two, besides the fact that the awe clutch is specific for 1.8t. I dunno any reason for one over the other, since we eliminated any real price difference?

 

Also anything specific i should have when replacing the clutch, something i should replace while down there ( my uncle will do it and has never done audi so ) anything besides pin and what comes in awe kit?
