Default Bezerk Radio

So my stereo was recently the unfortunate recipient of a soft drink directly onto the control panel (stupid stupid friend of mine)
It initially refused to work, then only the radio worked but it played at a very low level, and finally it has frozen in "phone" mode and remains on regardless of any of the buttons I push.
Does anyone know how to remove the head unit and/or clean it? I'm pretty sure it just shorted something, is there anything I can do to solve this problem?

I thought dielectric spray was used to stop high voltage shorting.
RadioShack Contact Cleaner removes dirt reducing resistance.

Pull the radio fuse to reset the radio. Since the radio's computer stays "on" even with the ignition off, pulling the fuse is the easiest way to "reboot" it.
