Hey Redgoat, are you talking about that speak deal that just plays the blow off sound? I've seen those somewhere and just couldn't help but laugh. That and what else, I think it was a CO2 purge kit, give it that nice NOS B/O look.

Why do you guys associate a blow off valve with a honda?

 

I'm guessing because a lot of people "soup" the crap out of them. Not that they aren't a good car, it's just some people take that car and turn it into something else. Personally when I think BOV, I tend to think more of an Eclipse.

 

well.. because there was this movie this one time.. and it featured an ugly car and it wasnt very fast..and stuff.. and it had a BOV.. and that made me Furious and it was really loud.. and it was annoying.. and it was an ugly car and wasnt very fast.. and they raced in the 1/4 mile that lasted 10 minutes...which made me even more furious so technically I was 2Furious .. hmm I cant really remember the name of that movie.. well, it will come to me.. its right on the tip of my tounge.. anyone know what Im talking about.....

I think in that same movie, they finally hit speeds of 100 or so with NOS. I was impressed.

 

Haha, I have seen MORE THAN ONE kids with civics, done to the ****... and 2 of them that I can think of actually bragged about the BOV noise... they were beat to hell civics too, but fast as ****.

I dunno, BOV makes me think Honda too... Eclipses... Hmm.... I associate crank walk, and transfercase lockup with those.

dont get me wrong... some hondas are damn fast.. and could blow most of us away.. but there are too many half assed ones out there.. and thats how they got their bad rep
