I may use a 50/50 when i get the new setup in and running well. Def wont run it all the time, buts its fun on some nights when you go out.

 

This post is to simply address the original question.

If desired, a blow off valve can be used. In order for it to function properly (ie a no rich condition), you will need to relocate your MAF. The blow off valve must be placed before the air incoming air is measured.
ie., the order: air filter --> turbo --> blow off valve --> MAF --> intercooler --> Throttle body.

Isnt the 20V Turbo thats in the B5 A4 the same engine thats in the VW GTI?If so, then doesnt the same rule with regard to BOV apply to the VW GTI?

 

Has anyone relocated teh maf? Does the car still run fine?

We did this on a M3 so we could run a BOV.

 

ok....my friend just got an audi a4.....and we r wanting 2 have a nice turbo sound...so im guessing that its better 2 have a bypass valve.....converter valve or w.e...ok where do we get 1...and how do we installe 1?

 

ecstuning get a forge 007 and an intake and you will have that nice lil sound, but props for not starting another BOV thread jsut adding on
