I love my BOV, havent really had any issues in about 10K miles. Although it becomes a pain in the *** if you start to ease off the gas a little bit while hammering on it, it will release too soon and yea, you start running really rich and have less boost. But that could be because its a cheap TurboXS and not the quality of a Tile/HKS. However the cool thing is, when it does this, I can actually make the car whistle at women walking by the side of the road. I want to get a video of it this spring before I change it out heh.

Now I have read about adaptors you can put the BOV into that will do a 50/50 vent/circ, thats what I will be doing when I can afford my GT28 kit.

many BOV's come with recirc kits and tubing, which if you ask some people on this post makes them DV's. either way, just because its called a BOV wherever you buy it from doesn't mean you can't use it, you just have to make sure it has the ability to, and comes with the tubing and such to recirc. there are a number of manufacturers who make these.

Not really sure why im here, but I drank a bunch tonight and started thinking about my B5.5 (I still have it). It has almost 300k miles now (Original Engine) and it has the same TurboXS BOV from 2006-2007... Still at 19PSI and the engine still runs perfectly minus the clacking from the cam tensioner (next on the list). I have probably repaired every part on that damn car but the engine has never given me a problem. Major wiring issues especially with the multi function stalk and headlights... but the engine is the one piece that never gave me any real issues. Done coil packs and ICM twice each. Two or three coolant temp sensors, two housings, 3x wheel bearing jobs, two sets of anti sway, two sets of suspension bushings, like 10 sets of tires, two transmissions, two turbos, two clutches, three timing belts and the list goes on... lol.... Now the rust is killing the body pretty badly, it has hail damage and i have had two springs rust and break and im trying to decide on a restore or a part out... That said not one issue EVER in 15 years from the BOV or engine.

I hope i can finally end the argument of the decade because I never forgot how people acted on here about my setup. The BOV was always fine, and still is. I do not believe for one second you were hurting anything by having it. That engine is the ONLY part of that car I haven't taken apart. I had to rebuild my Honda CR-V motor at 256K but my 19PSI BOV Equipped AEB is STILL running like it did 15 years ago.

Anyway. Missed you guys =]
