I just picked up a 2007 Audi A4 2.0T AWD with the bluetooth phone option. First, I have really enjoyed this option. I have a Motorola Razr and I never have to take it out of my pocket when in this car.

The phone interface automatically loaded all my contacts to the car's phone book. The manual says I can then scroll to a number, press the talk button and say "Save Number" in order to assign a name and save it in the voice phone book. Everytime I try this, it asks for the number as well as if I weren't in phone mode with a number highlighted. Am I doing something wrong or are the instructions wrong?

 

I wish I had bluetooth option.
