Bluetooth + Pre-wired 1999 A4?
Hey everyone...I looked through old posts and I didn't see the answer I was looking for. My car is wired for a phone, but I have no idea what I need to actually have it functional. I've seen the pictures of a phone in the center console, but where would I get that? Would I contact my cell phone company or does that phone require a subscription to some other service (like OnStar?)? I'd rather find a bluetooth adapter that works with it, but I don't know how to start looking. I know about other bluetooth options like those from Parrot, but I'm specifically interested in using the car's own system. Has anyone done this?
Also, I bought this car at the end of last week and I was reserving judgment until the dealership fixed the cruise control, unlocked the stereo, lubricated the sunroof, etc. But now they have done everything and it's official. This car is AMAZING. I'm in love. I never thought I'd own anything but Japanese cars, but this thing blows my Toyotas and Subarus out of the water.
