with a boost controller how much psi can the stock a4 1.8t's handle?

dont use a manual boost controller to get more boost... its an easy way to blow your turbo and engine when you dont have proper fueling

use it to limit your boost or to help smooth out boost spikes...

but if youre running a chip, dont go over 18-20psi

well i have a dtec so i can manage my fuel and can support more psi, but i was just wondering with that how much do you think i can run at all the time without causing any damage

with the dtec and the boost controller ill be able to have more fuel for more boost and hopefully gain about 30 hp

but you cant touch timing. and do you know dtec will work. just chip the car and get a safe 50hp

ya the dtec will work, i looked for it and its the same for every car its available for, and it works for a4 1.8t. and i am going to take it to mac autosport in parker to get it tuned and all that stuff,

haha you dont like mac huh. what is another good place for audi's, and yea im going to have them install the boost controller and dtec and set the maps and then tune it all
