i just installed my new vdo boost gauge. wow that was easyer than i thaught..
the question is, what should it read at idle??
it is showing -20
and is topping out at about 15lbs under full load
it is a 1.8t with a tap1 stage 2 chip, and all the good stuf that goes along with is..
tap said it should be putting out about 12.5lbs...


what do ya think

-20 is the vacume, are u spiking at 15 and holding at 12.5

 

that sounds right, spike at 15 and settles around 12.5-13

I spike 21 and hold 19 but thats with GIAC

 

Which boost gauge did you install?

i installed a VDO gauge.

 

get N75 J so you can boost little more.
