Default boost gauge

Im looking to put a boost gauge into the middle vent of the dash. Im planning to buy a autometer boost gauge but i need the plastic pod holder to fit the guage into the vent. Also what kind of wire do i need to hook the gauge up to?

here are some forums member pics.

yea i seen all of those but the carbon fiber autometer gauge is way cheaper and looks good. i just need the plastic part.

i found these from this guy that custom made them on another forum.

it seems like its just a insert piece of plastic how does it hold the gauge in place. maybe i can make one?

I got the AWE vent boost gauge but a few of my friends used the Autometer gauges and just made their vent pods. It is just a piece of plastic that holds the vent snug.

I just did the Center vent DIY a couple weeks ago. I chose the left most center vent. I'm very happy with how it turned out. I'm a big fan of making all modifications look like they belong there(came from the factory in that location). The ebay mount would not look that way. just my $.02.

This is the 1i made that cost about $10. I used a DIY from someone here, all it is is a piece of pvc, bondo & paint.
