boost gauge setup

I dunno. I think 1/8" tee is good. And yeah, I just cut my existing vent. Homebrizzle. I'm too cheap to even pay 25$ for an Overspun pod. There's a cylindrical saw drill bit that is the perfect size. 2 1/8th".

Did anyone run wires to make it light up if so you just run them to the ecu and the light fuse right and you would run the wire the same place as the hose ok thanks everyone for the help

For the lights I ran wiring from the lighted vent wheels. Splice into the hot red wire and use a different
ground (not the black wire like you see in the picture - that was a mistake I made early on).
Now the gauge light only comes on when the lights are turned on.


Of course a 97 doesnt have the illuminated vents so you would need to run to the fusebox. Some people do it like this.





hey to the guys that have them in your vents did you cut up your own vent or did you but the pod from AWE ?
I cut up the vent in my 98. on the 2000 I actually took the vent and bondoed it.

hey where does the vacume line come from and go to?......the line brrman tapped into looks like the dv line is that the one.....and if so my line doesn't got directly to the intake manifold???it got to a small box under it than a line goes from that to the manifold

bump....any help guys is it the hose that comes off of the dv???that the only "cloth" covered hose i can find......if any of u guys live around the nh area and have a boost guage installed pm me so i talk to u directly and hopfully meet somewhere to see in person

Look at your manifold, the hose comming off of it right in front of you (the closest one to you) put the t there.

srry for being a pain but, which one do i connect to
1 is a blue hose that connets to something under the intake
2 the dv hose
3 is them running side by side under the intake
4 i assume this is the fpr hose?????not sure
srry for the crappy pics but it a crappy cam.
