Hey Panda, do you have pics of yours in the ashtray? I think the only location I'd like would be the vent, or the ashtray. Too bad the AWE kit is semi pricy...

the AWE one is definetly the nicest but probley the most money as well and they do not make a oil pressure gauge to go along with that so I have a boost gauge and oil pressure gauge by Autometer and they will sit side by side in the center vents once I get around to it

i dont like that vent thing, i think it looks cheap (no offense to those wo have it)... i got an autometer ultralite metric gauge (stainless face, red light, 60 cm/hg to 2.0 bar... think it goes with the car better considering it is german. the ashtray seems like an awesome place, unless they make a kit for it... i had an a/f gauge that i made a custom mount for in my mustang, now i regret it cause i wanna get rid of the car and have to sell it with the gauge (which id rather put in the a4) because if i dont ill have a 2" hole in my dash. Pillar is the way to go, you can see it without taking your eyes off the road. if you have a reason too look at the gauge, you probably need to have your eyes on the road.
