Earlier I had my battery disconnected and later on I tryed to turn the radio on the message SAFE came on with no music playing nothing works on the radio I pushed every button and it still reads SAFE on the radio. I dont have an owners manual because I got the car used and didnt come with one. What is going on with the radio how can I fix it?

I got my radio code by calling the local Audi dealerships until I found the one that the previous owner had used for service and they had the code in their files. Otherwise, you'll probably have to take it to a dealership and pay an arm and a leg for them to unlock it. Unless you're pretty.

 

Is there any hack around the code, the anti-theft code is pointless nobody steals factory radios?

 

Not that I know of, but you can probably find more information by searching.

 

I belive but do not quote me on this you can probably try and use vag-com I know I accessed my radio with vag-com didnt pay much attention to the options though, try searching this problem is pretty often
