Both low beams out
After several nights in a cold airport parking lot my 2000 A4's low beam lights would not come on. I checked the bulbs and fuses but they are OK. The fog lights do not work either. I believe the fog lights are designed to not function without the low beams on. Could this be a relay problem?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I would point to the switch stalk not working correctly. The fogs won't come on unless the headlights are on.
Try spraying it with electronics contact cleaner (get it at radio shack). This is a common problem.Do the high beams come on when you pull back on the stalk?
