I dont own the Supra anymore and you guys do to newbs here what I do to newbs on my forum.
Except Im not that big of an *******. I bought the Supra for about 16500 put 1K into it and
sold it for 25K Turned around and bought a Nissan 240 and built that car myself. Common SR swap
Intercooler yadda yadda yadda! I understand close loop systems and everything you guys are saying.
I think its a misunderstanding because in the scene I have been involved in a BOV and a DV are pretty
much the same thing. The only diff is one is recirculated and the other isnt, but I see them the same because
now BOV come with recirculating kits. Someone said diverter valve, and I knew it to be a Dump Valve.
This kid wants to do somthing I personally wouldn't do to an AUDI I simply informed him how to do it. For that
you guys fried me and this kid. So you took one noob that asked a question, pretty much called him a ricer. Then
I answered his question on how to do it, and you guys fried me. It seems like theres only a handful of people around here
that run around this forum like they are s**t on a stick....and make everyone else not want to open their mouth for
fear of getting torched. Thats not a good way to run a forum. When I signed the member agreement, I recall that there was
somthing like this:

I will control myself

I will not cause trouble to others

I dont care that you fried me, but I don't think it was cool what you did to that kid.

Anyway someone asked for pics of my setup well here are some:

Turbo that will go on if I dont sell the car:

nice lookin car.

I think what started this is that you did not accurately describe what you were saying and people called you on it.

I know a lot of people do not agree with BOVs simply because they are on the anti-bov bandwagon and have never seen one in person even. But I have. And I've seen friends remove them a month after putting them on (one was a hybrid) because they ran rich, and even threw a CEL. The VAGcom was very descriptive of their problems when they scoped it. They got engine retardation, loss of performance, fouling all over the place.

I am not adamant about this issue because I like to argue. I am so because I know what I'm talking about when it comes to these cars. I hate seeing misinformation being passed around. I agree - there is no call to ridicule the kid because he asked the question (and I did not ridicule him) but I WILL state the facts plainly for him to understand what problems he is going to encounter.

I completely agree with you 100%, no argument here. I think the problem with alot of BOV
is they tend to leak at idle if you ge a bad one. Which is why they started including the
recirculating kits. I have to disassemble mine every so often and re-lube it and put it back
together. Unfortunately, it is a neccesity on my car especially if I slap on my GT25R....430whp!!

I doubt 430whp without a custom tune and alot of other stuff.

yeah - many aftermarket DVs also require manual re-lubing.

I already have everything else...Apexi Power FC, 770cc injectors, Z32 MAF.....friend of mine has the same turbo with the same mentioned parts. Without tuning, just a base line run he made 398hp, fully tuned he made close to 465whp! Im being conservative with my numbers. All this is also on stock internals....gotta love Nissan turbo motors.

IMHO only time you need a BOV is when you do BT setup. I.E. if you were to run a GT28RS or something.
