box mod and codes....
by the way my car is also only boosting 4 psi. any idea why? limp mode? I'm confused right now might have to just bring it to audi.
my last ditch effort is going to be cleaning the MAF and trying to clear the codes one more time.
ARGHHHH!
^ thats the sound a man makes when they know they are about to get raped by audi.

Did you try disconnecting the battery again? Do it for 30 mins this time if not... And make sure your battery terminals are clean and tight. A lose ground could cause whacky codes like those. Sounds like youre in limp mode though at 4 psi. You didnt mess with your N75 at all did you?
no i didnt touch the n75 but when getting the box in and out you know its kind of a tight squeeze so you have to move those vac lines and all those wires to the side. Maybe a vac line slipped off or something i'll have to take a look down in there this afternoon. what does the code for the bypass valve bad ground code mean? that seems like crazy talk to me. I talked to some techs at audi they said as long as its not blinking its not that bad. but when i start the car and the Service light comes on in the center comp screen. as soon as that goes away the cel pops up. does anyone know how to get that service light to stop coming up everytime i start the car?
thanks for the replies.

What i would do is check all lines, everything you messed with, and recheck. Then get all codes and CEL cleared and start from there. When you are at 4 psi, it is in limp mode. With a reset, you can check and see if it does it again. My freind had a TT and got chipped, three days later he went into limp mode and it ended up being a 02 sensor.
also check to make sure that your maf is facing the right way. when i did that mod i accidentally put the maf in the wrong way and got CEL right away. a soon as i turned it around CEL went away.
the maf was never removed from the inside of the cover. unfortunatley I brought it to audi and they are replacing an electrical line and replacing some fuses that caused the CEL. looks like its going to be about $200 to fix not too bad. I was ready to sell it and get an S if it was anywhere near $1000.
make sure everything is soundly plugged back in and make sure MAF is clean and plugged in, clear codes and unplug battery for a bit then drive and see if the codes come back and you start boosting again
