Really, I'm surprised, but you're there and I'm not. So much for long distance diagnostics.
I just bought a 2000 1.8tQ two months ago with approx 75K miles. It is replacing my venerable 92 Camry V-6 with 320,000 miles. Quite a step up I might add.
Right now, I'm just in seek and replace mode (timing belt, water pump, clean out the drive train fluids/filters). This is my "daily driver", as I commute 150 miles a day. Still, I could use some more Ooomph for high speed passing on the NJ Turnpike.
Once I get the basic maintenance out of the way, its probably time for a chip and new 710n DV.
