Default Brake light warning.. but it works!?

Brake light message keeps coming up on my dash. I went to change the bulb... they are okay. I then had a friend confirm that all the brake lights work when I hit the brakes with lights on and off! Anyone have this problem? What should I do?

I checked it out. There is a symbol for break pad wear. This message literally reads "Brake Light".

The brake light will flash and beep if the brake fluid is low, but i would still check the fluid anyways
