brake pads and exhaust
What kind of price are you getting the magnaflow for?
I might change my brakes when I get my new wheels... Although the brakes are brand new, and perform fine -- they leave an assload of brake dust on my wheels! And I'm easy on my brakes -- i'm no tail-gater!
So yes, I think I'll be after OEM, more than likely... stupid brake dust, its the devil.

I just put new rotors and pads on my 98 A4. I used the directions from the sites that jestnomen put on his post. Those directions are Great! I thought they were more helpful than the Chilton or Haynes manuals. The only comment I would make is to make sure you have that brake caliper tool. I used the loaner tool from Murray's auto parts and it was indispensable. (pay them $60. use the tool, return it and get the $60 back)
Anyways, what is the difference between the braking in the semi-metallic, organic, ceramic, or "racing brake pads"
Do some of them brake harder or is it just how long they last?

The Diff between the pads is wat is material is used in them
some are designed to brake with producing less brake dust
or less brake noise.
hehe try racing brake pad on the street it will be like trying to
stop a train when there cold it will take for ever but as soon as there
heat up, which there wont heat up on the street , will
stop the car like running into a brick wall
There all have differnt cofficint rate of friction or something like that
most brake pads are stamped EE , EF, make sure you using the right code
for safe braking
