Default Brake Sensitivity

I've had this feeling since I first drove my car when I bought it recently that there's a little something off with the brakes. I have to generally push down harder in my audi to stop than most other cars i've driven. Is this normal? I've since had the brake fluid replaced and the pads seem fine. Just curious.

Might have a vac leak to the brake booster. You need to pull the cover off that is bellow the windshield that goes over your brake fluid resevoir/battery/ecu, etc. to get a look.

I have the same issue the guys at audi said it was normal? I found it weird! At higher speeds than to slow down I do feel a big defference vs driving like 60km/h and coming to a stop.

If the pads are newer they may not be seated properly. Giving the brakes a good workout will usually seat them and improve brake feel.
