I have an 2001 certified pre owed A4. My brakes have been really squeky lately. so i took it to the dealer to see what is going on with them and they said they cant do anything because they are aftermarket. shouldnt they have seen that on there 300 point inspection. is there no way to get them to replace or fix the problem? Also i told them i had a rattle coming from the front drivers side wheel when i went over bumps. they said all they could find was a torn boot and its not covered under warranty either. any thoughts?

 

you can try to loosen the material alittle, doing some high speed stops, hard braking, getting them hot ya know

 

How long have you had your car if the brakes were fine when you picked them up then why would they change them also the Audi assured warrenty does not cover brakes

 

warrenties dont over normal wear and tear
