wit your warrenty if something mechancal goes wrong they will fix it or change it,
example turbo cracks they will replace it as long as u didnt void the warrenty, or u have a faulty manifold they will replace it if u didnt void the warrenty stuff like that

 

I have this problem right now. I just dropped off my car this morning to the dealer. Mine is a 2002 A4 1.8T Avant with 34k miles.
dealer said its covered by warranty.

Any updates on this problem?

 

No fault found at this time its just dirt on the rotors the sweeking will go away

 

sme thing here...my brakes have been kinda squeaky lately too!...its soft tho and only when its light braking....im still warantee'd

I'm not sure if we're talking about the same squeek, but mine started doing it this winter, too. I thought i was sure that it was coused by worn pads. replaced them last WE and was all happy about it. They were worn though, but the squeek is still there, Couldn't believe it!! it only sqeeks for a couple miles after starting, and just a little. then it goes away.. I cleaned the entire brake assembly and lubed the contact surfaces. still squeeks. i wonder if anyone will figure that one out..
