Breaks, Other Noises?

Breaks, Other Noises?
When I start my 2000 A4 Quattro half the time that car makes a gargling noise in the back. Can anyone tell me what this is and if it is an issue or not? Also my front breaks are a bit squeaky and now the rear sounds like there is air in the back. This is a noise I am hearing, the breaks still feel decent. I have only had the car 4 or 5 months and the last alignment the tech said the breaks were good. Thanks for you help.

RE: Breaks, Other Noises?
I really have no idea how to describe the noise, I am hoping that someone would just recognize what I am talking about. When I am breaking the rear brakes are making a noise, (I am saying brakes because the noise is only present while I am breaking, but it is def. coming from the back.) I described it as air because the noise is not a squeak it is similar to the fuel pump priming noise. My wife said it sounds like we were dragging something. Any ideas?
Thanks for the other info about the fuel pump priming that is good to know its not a problem.

RE: Breaks, Other Noises?
If you had air in the lines the pedal would feel spungy. I would guess (without seeing it) there is probably some rust the pad is rubbing against either on the rotor or caliper slides. I would check pad condition and look for rust.
