On the 1.8t engine are there any specific problems that you guys have encountered with regards to oil being consumed heavily but without it really appearing anywhere?

I'm thinking maybe being used due to blocked breather hoses, as the turbo is brand new and the car is using about a 3rd of a Gallon of oil every 500-600 miles.

Any suggestions would be good as i've run out of ideas.
