Better. It's only dropping to about 500 rpms (instead of like 200-300) before bouncing back up, the shudder is improving, and I'm getting better fuel economy (yeah, wait, what?). So, it seems like it's figuring out the issue on its own. Anyway, like whatshisface said, maybe it'll be fine after putting some more miles between us and the HID install. Which, by the way, is soooo good. You must be super excited!

Im excited, I just hope I dont **** up the install as one of our more recent 1st gear members did. I especially hope I dont have to spend an hour aligning them correctly.

You just don't let up, do you?

Edit: Oh, yeah, look at me! No more "newbies" or "rolling starts" here!

PS. I don't know if there was an easier way to do it, but for me, the kit wasn't exactly plug and play. I couldn't figure out anything else to do but cut the wires leading to the original bulb and crimp on female connectors to work with the wires from the kit. For those of you who have installed a VVME kit, how was I supposed to connect them?

I pushed the male blade connectors directly into the original bulb's harness.
