Broken gas door
Searched around the forums but didn't find anything regarding my issue. After I bought the car, I noticed that the gas door was open. It is supposed to be locked when I lock my car but it doesn't. It seems that the lock doesn't come out.
So my question is, is there any way to access that part of the trunk? If so, how would I do it.
If not, I guess I would have to take it to the dealer when my extended warranty starts to kick in sometime this week. I have a $100 deductible so I don't want to spend any money out of my pocket.

You have to remove the side panel in the trunk. Youll probably have to remove the trunk "sill plate also". Then pry off those black cover looking things. Getting to the motor isnt all that hard. The hard part is removing the old one and putting in the new one. The bolt that hold it in is in a tricky spot.
