so my wastegate shaft snapped... another one is being shipped. anyway, how much boost does the 1.8t have to make to be able to hear the k03? when i nail it is as loud as the twins on an s4... can someone give me an idea? i have a boost gauge but nowhere to mount it yet, i am worried that the wastegate is completely sealed, and is always boosting, and overboosting.

 

10+ psi and you should be able to start to hear it.

depends how good your hearing is!

 

well like i said, it sounds exactly like a stock 2000 s4
