Just replace the rods and at most bore it for some 83mm pistons andyou keep the compression 9.5:1 you will getbetter spool than if you have a 2.0 bottom. Also you will be able to rev the car up to near 8k and have a much longer powerband.

Yeah I figure with the bottom end that I am getting and a good valvetrain 8k rpms should not be a problem.

if your worried about knock, water/meth injection will more than tame that, not to mention all the other benifiets. But you can still do wonders with just adding drop in rods (20mm scats or 19mm intergarated engineering)

*up to 00 20mm wrist pins and 01+ are 19mm
