I'm looking to get in an A4. But the problem is the one's that are in my price range have high miles. Should I do it? I have an eclipse with 88k now and the A4s I can get have 60k and 70k on them. Are they gonna hold up with chips, exhaust, dv, cai, and larger injectors????[][]

 

There are many chipped 1.8t A4s on this forum with 150K mi.
Have a german car mechanic check the car over.

 

I switched from an eclipse to an Audi and boy was it a big improvement. Plus the Audis you're interested in have less mileage than the eclipse. I am sure it will hold up with only 60 or 70 thousand miles..........that's not a lot of mileage really.

 

I bought mine with 130k(now at 145k) on it - so I don't t think you have to much to worry about it - just do the preventative maintenance and you'll be golden. plus you have all of us to answer questions.

 

I'm getting itchy....I want my A4 now!!!! I can't wait. I'm tired of my eclipse. I deserve an upgrade!!

I have owned two A4s, both had over 100K on them with no major problems. Like others said -preventative maintenance is key.....Allthough that didn't stop my damn window motor from going out on me!

 

I don't know what engine you're looking at but my 2.8 has 193,xxx miles on it and runs fine.

 

That is nothing for mileage. Just breaking in @ 60k. VW/Audi go for a very long time if properly taken care of
