Buying an '03, things to look for before i sign
Pretty much like the title says, i'm about to purchase an '03 1.8t. I'm going to look at/test drive the car tomorrow. What if anything in particular should i look for/check out before I sign or put down a deposit. I'm relatively new to the Audi community, I have been a toyota guy for a while and am looking at this A4 as a daily driver. It has 48,000 Miles and I have gotten them down to 16,900 from an original price of 18,900. Does this sound like a fair price? The interior looked nice black leather black exterior. Thanks a lot for your help guys. Also it is Audi Certified for that price.

Awsome price, check the carfax histroy report on it, the 20 bucks pays for itself, and also make sure its been matnienced by professionals, and has no serious or obvious dents or different colored paints... you dont want a car thats been in an accident even if it was fixed correctly
Make sure everything is clean, and make sure its MANUAL!
I love my 03

awesome, will definitely check it all out, its going to be a fun car, should i be worried about the relatively high mileage? I've read in the FAQ that these 1.8 motors are a tad less reliable than their non-forced induction counterpart, but i figure as long as I take care of it its not different...not to mention there are about a billion of these motors around from various VW/Audi vehicles that they have been used in so i'm figuring sourcing broken parts should be simple going forward if necessary. Anyone with a high mileage 1.8 want to chime in? Thanks a lot!
