Well in june my 01 Golf GLS 1.8t 4dr will be paid off. I have decided instead of continuing to mod it I would get a new car. I really want AWD. I hate spinning my tires when I launch but I live the comfort a 4dr wagon. By then the A# quattro will be here but I dont think it has anything on the Avant. So I am looking for an 03 or 04 Avant. I really want white (I belive that is the artic white). I dont know which motor to get though. Since I know I pretty much cant afford an s4 avant (05 = 42,000) I am left w/ the 3.0 V6 and the 1.8t. I love my 1.8t I have now but I see what power the guys in the VR6 mkIV's get when they add a turbo So this is what I am thnking. I will get a 03 or 04 A4 Avant b5 w/ the 3.0 v6 and then in about a year after that get a turbo put on it like the r32 guys do. Or do they make a supercharger for these motors.
Also those that have b5 avants how do you like them?

first off I think the year your looking at is refered to as a B6. also, these motor are not transverse and I don't belive I've seen a turbo for the six cylinder. If I'm not mistaken thou, PES tuning has a s/c for it, I would pesonaly go with the 1.8 but thats just me.
