A/C comp belt removal

I am thinking of removing my A/C comp. belt, Will any damage be done to comp. should I remove the belt? I need to know ASAP.

i don't see how removing the belt could damage the compressor, it just means that the compressor won't run. why do you want to remove the belt anyway? if you say weight reduction i may have to slap you....[sm=joke.gif]

Dont really use the A/C, and I removed the belt driven fan and got a small up in power or response. Wondering If this would do the same thing. No not for Weigth reduction.

YOU REMOVED YOUR FAN BELT?! uuuuh yea, you may want to go put that back on right now.

...nvm, i just saw your sig...but anyway, i'm pretty sure removing the ac belt won't do anything.
