Camber Problems
I lowered my 1999 A4 1.5 in" and now I can't get anything to fix the camber. I've had an alignment done twice in a year but
it still eats my tires right up. To be specific: brand new tires almost shot in 5k miles. That was my fault that I didn't check them when I serviced it but still I can't run my car like that. Is there anything I can do to avoid going back to stock suspension?

1.5 and your having camber problems? Damn i dont see how but ill take your word for it. I have NEVER seen a camber correction kit for our cars and have been told that there isnt one. So your SOL. Mines lowered 2.4 front and 1.9 rear no problems at all.
I thought that 1.5 inches shouldn't mess it up that bad. I thought it was my aftermarket 18s but I put my stock back on and it did the same. Anyone I talk to say the same. You can't fix the camber. It really sucks
Are your front tires wearing or rear or both all around? If its the front check your control arms and tie rods. Its a possiblity that they could be bent or something else is wrong. Have you tired taking it to a local mechanic to see whats up?
It's just the front "inside" tires, and they don't wear evenly.
That's a good thought but my mechanic said that every thing was normal.
Maybe he didn't know what he was saying cause he's not used working on German cars.

Maybe but a general mechanic should be able to tell if something is up. Look up in your area in the phone but and pick out a couple of european car mechanic shops and try them if theres none goto the dealership and thats being a last resort.
